Day 12 (British Columbia) CBC R3 Song of the Day

As a tribute to Canada and my love for Canadian Indie music, I’ve not only created special provincial playlists for my Cross-Canada road trip but I will also be featuring a:

“CBCR3 Song of the Day”

Every day I will showcase a CBCR3 artist from the province where we happen to be travelling. (the rules are simple; simply because I’m too tired for fancy)

Today is Day 12 and we are in British Columbia for a fourth night and the CBCR3 Song of the Day is…… (drum roll please)

Radio, Yukon Blonde

Yukon Blonde is a Canadian Indie Rock band originally from Kelowna, BC (a bigger city in the beautiful Okanagan Valley about an hour from Penticton, where we are staying tonight). I have thoroughly enjoyed this band for quite some time now but my favourite song is Radio (which made my 2012 CBC R3 playlist).  I DARE YOU TO SIT STILL WHILE LISTENING!!  Last year their song, My Girl made my 2013 CBC R3 playlist but don’t stop there – they have a host of amazing tunes to choose from!
