Day 5 (Saskatchewan) CBC R3 song of the day: Mr. Baker, Indigo Joseph

As a tribute to Canada and my love for Canadian Indie music, I’ve not only created special provincial playlists for my Cross-Canada road trip but I will also be featuring a:

“CBCR3 Song of the Day”

Every day I will showcase a CBCR3 artist from the province where we happen to be travelling. (the rules are simple; simply because I’m too tired for fancy)

Today is Day 5 and we are in Saskatchewan and the CBCR3 Song of the Day is…… (drum roll please)

Mr. Baker by Indigo Joseph

One night in Saskatchewan means one Saskatchewan music choice. I have been digging the band Indigo Joseph for quite some time and their song, “Mr. Baker” is living on every playlist I have these days – I seriously can’t get enough of it. (how can you not love a song with howling??) Please do yourself a huge favour and listen to this song and while you’re at it, check out their other great music.

til tomorrow,
Team Adventurers

(Ps. The wifi is this beautiful province did not agree with my phone/laptop hence I’m a day late. Stay tuned for day 6 song of the day tonight from Alberta!)

Day 1: Safe and Sound, Hawksley Workman

Day 2: Still, Great Lake Swimmers

Day 3: Take Me Anywhere, Odd Years

Day 4: One Great City, Weakerthans
